Check your junk mails folder once in a while!
Hello all,
Thought of sharing this real instance with you...
When I was going to US 3 years ago via Zurich, I met a Indian guy who was also in my flight from mumbai to zurich. He was also going to US but some other city and by some other flight than mine.
so we had some hours to spend and we wandered the airport and shops there.
At that time this guy tells me that, he had to pay extra for his extra luggage and he has absolutely no money with him right now!
So I asked would you need money and should I give him some?
(Aparna would have objected to this, has she been there :D:D I would have got taunts like 'karnacha avatar' etc.)
But I used my judgement, we were knowing each other for few hours. But he was really embarassed to say what he said. Also he had told me that, because of having dinner in a mumbai hotel, he had missed his scheduled flight yesterday! And he as adjusted to this flight!! Must be a very frequest flier! How could one just miss the flight for a dinner!!!
So I asked him how much would he need?
He said, he needs at least $5 to get to his destination. But $20 would make it comfortable!
I gave him $20! That was my first spend after I left Mumbai.
And days passed by, months passed by. Some times I wondered, how can somebody doesn't have a courtesy of dropping an email? (I had given him my card, on his request)
After that I forgot all this.
I was eagerly waiting for a mail, today. And I thought that mail might have gone to junk folder. So I checked the junk folder.
And wohooo! I saw this guy's mail sent last month!! He reminds me of our Zurich time. He thanks me and requests to get in touch!!
