My cousin was hurt as any Indian about the inaction of union govt. against the Mumbai bomb blasts...
REad the mail she has sent and my reply...


My reply:

Though our govt's inaction is annoying, I wonder why are you mixing it with Mahatma Gandhi?

That soul has taught us to fight against injustice and all fears!
And to tell you, he wudn't have hesitated the hot persuit (war) in present case. (He has actually told this to S M joshi, while discussing Satyagraha. So don't take his "ahinsa" literally)

On the same note:
He knew where to use "ahinsa". He didn't allow satyagraha against Portugese in Goa, as he knew they will be shot dead there!!
